The benefits of becoming a BFVEA Member
This category is open to : For Membership rates see below
- any suitable, insured therapist who already offers essences as part of their practice and who hold an Anatomy & Physiology qualification.
- A student who has completed a flower essence course that is not BFVEA compliant but which meets the BFVEA minimum standards. An Anatomy & Physiology qualification is required.
- those who have worked with essences for more
than two years, hold an Anatomy & Physiology qualification and can
supply 3 case studies (This should be 3 clients whom you have seen on 3 separate occasions) and knowledge of the BFVEA minimum standards.
This category is open to students who have completed a BFVEA compliant course and who hold an Anatomy & Physiology qualification.
Advanced Practitioner Members and Practitioner members are included in the registered Directory of Practitioners. There is a block insurance scheme available for professional indemnity. All Practitioner members are able to access the secure section of this website to view research and membership documents by requesting a log in username and password.
Tutor members are BFVEA practitioners who have been members for at least two years. The courses they offer have met the current BFVEA requirements. Only courses run by Tutor Members will be endorsed by the BFVEA.
Practitioner and Tutor members receive copies of ESSENCE magazine as part of their membership package.
International Membership
International Advanced Practitioner Membership - This category is open to those who have completed a BFVEA compliant course and who hold an Anatomy & Physiology qualification. Insurance cover will need to be sort from a reputable Insurance Company in the country of residence.
International Practitioner Membership - This category is open to those who have completed a flower essence training course that is not BFVEA compliant but meets the BFVEA minimum standards. Case studies and information about the course attended and an Anatomy & Physiology qualification is also required. Insurance cover will need to be sort from a reputable Insurance Company in the country of residence.
International Members receive copies of ESSENCE magazine as part of their membership package.
All applicants

You will need to read the BFVEA Code of Conduct and BFVEA Constitutional documents and you will also need to sign and send the BFVEA Code of Conduct agreement form and Data consent form with your application. All other relevant documents you will have access to when your application has been confirmed.
Personal data collected by the BFVEA as a result of taking out a Practitioner Membership will be held securely and not shared with anyone else. You may terminate your Membership at any time and your details will be safely destroyed.
